Creating a kitchen with purpose: Our work with Canaan Trust’s Aspire House
At Long Eaton Kitchen Company, we believe kitchens are more than just practical spaces, they’re places of connection, comfort, and care. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to have supported a project close to our hearts: the full donation and installation of a brand new kitchen for Aspire House, a women’s homeless shelter developed by the Canaan Trust.
About Aspire House
Aspire House is the newest addition to the Canaan Trust’s mission to support the homeless in our communities. This new property will provide 24/7 support and care for homeless women, housing up to 9 individuals at a time. Its purpose is to guide vulnerable women toward rebuilding their lives with the end goal of achieving independent living in a safe, supportive environment. This isn’t just a house, it’s a fresh start. And we were honoured to help make it feel like a home.
Our contribution
We donated and fitted a complete kitchen, including all appliances, to ensure the residents of Aspire House have a functional, welcoming space to cook, gather, and feel at ease. From the first design sketch to the final fitting, this project was a team effort.
